Ruby's sire Rubinus is a tall, elegant black stallion sired by Rubinstein and out of the elite mare Rocca (Rouletto x Montevideo). He was inspected and approved for breeding by both the AHS and the Hanoverian Verband in 2011, receiving an overall score of 8. His sire, Rubinstein, is considered to be one of the most significant Westphalian sires today. He was an accomplished Dressage horse with over 40 wins at the Grand Prix level, was a member of the 1996 Olympic team, and sired 89 state premium mares and 66 approved sons.

Her damsire, Lehndorff (Ludendorf x Furioso II), was licensed as a premium stallion at the 1988 Trakehner Stallion Licensing. In 2002, he was awarded the Elite Stallion title, and was proclaimed Stallion of the Year in Neumünster. ​

Ruby is easy to handle in every way, an easy keeper, has no vices, and a great mom. She was a Dressage horse in her younger years, and has been a broodmare for the past few (while being the ultimate pony-ride-giver to our toddler). She is sound, but we are selling her as a broodmare with 2 LFG breedings to our palomino Westfalen stallion. Both horses carry W20 which guarantees lots of white markings, and together they can only produce chestnut and palomino offspring which are very saleable. Shipping available within Canada.
